About Huntingball Lodge
This elegant and quiet country house comprises of five high quality self catering holiday apartments, superbly situated on the edge of Exmoor National Park and overlooking Blue Anchor Bay.
Standing in an elevated position in its own park-like grounds of 1.5 acres (including an 18 hole putting green) and where from every apartment there are the most spectacular and far reaching views across the bay and along the Somerset coastline and the surrounding Exmoor countryside.
From the house you can also see Dunster Castle emerging through the trees, right across the Brendon Hills and on a clear day right up to Dunkery Beacon (the highest point on Exmoor).The beach is just a 3 minute walk and also within an easy stroll there is a pub, two cafe’s one with a small shop and a small indoor swimming pool. Railway enthusiasts will love the West Somerset Steam Railway, which runs between Bishops Lydeard and Minehead, and which stops at the station at the far end of Blue Anchor Bay just a 15 minute walk from the house.
Here at Huntingball we pride ourselves on exceptional levels of cleanliness and service and this is reflected by the extremely high percentage of repeat business and we strongly believe in providing a personal service at all times. Each apartment is exceedingly spacious, well-furnished and uniquely individual in design and all benefit from their own private patio or roof terrace from which to enjoy the stunning views. Free WIFI is available. Well behaved dogs are also welcome.
General Information
We have our own information room with numerous brochures and leaflets of things to do and places to go including many walking books for the use of guests during their stay. We can also provide ordnance survey maps of the area and personalised maps of local walks together with any help or advice of where to go. There is also a laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer for the use of guests free of charge.
The gardens are a feature of the property with plenty of seating areas to enjoy the views and there is also an 18 hole putting green for the enjoyment of our guests
